2010 RFP Announced

Posted on 06 September 2010 by Matt Mutz

Is your group in need of financial support?

Throughout the year the Oshkosh Jaycees have organized community events like the Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Day Parade, and have held fund raising projects like Brews ‘n Blues and the upcoming Oshquerade. It is now the time of year when we begin the process of distributing the funds we have raised back to the Oshkosh Area Community. Please take a moment to review the following document for information and for an application. Completed request for proposal applications must be postmarked by October 1, 2010 in order to be considered. If you have additional questions, please contact Jason Rosenau, Management VP at jason.rosenau@oshkoshjaycees.org or call (920) 475-1298.

Every February, the bravest (or craziest!) Oshkosh Jaycees gather their warmest clothes, a golf club, a tennis ball and their friends and head to Menominee Park in Oshkosh for…Ice Golf!

Ice Golf 2006

Want to see some crazy Jaycees playing golf in February?

Join us on Sunday, February 21, 2010.

We’ll start at St. Thomas Bar, 693 Main St., Oshkosh, at 9:00 a.m. for a warm-up drink.

At 10:00 a.m., we head to Miller’s Bay in Menominee Park.  (Take Main St. to E. Irving Ave. and park by the docks.)  Bring one golf club of your choice and one tennis ball!  The course will be laid out.

After about an hour and a half, we’ll head to Terry’s Lounge, 688 N. Main St., for a lunch and drinks.

I hope to see you there!

Back to School!

Posted on 31 August 2009 by jes.borland

The Oshkosh Jaycees are partnered with Washington Elementary School through the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce’s Partners at Learning (PAL) program. We’re excited to help Washington any way we can!

One of the ways we help is through a school supplies drive every summer. Our members collect the supplies, and we donate them to the school! August 2009 marks our fifth drive.
